A Time of Reflection

Hello  Awesome People,
How are you this fine night? This is the night before January 1, 2013! Yay! Are you excited about that!

So  today 3 years ago, I started this blog. I had been wanting a blog for a long time before that! Back when everyone had xanga! Do you remember those days?! So, yeah, now I just gave away how old I must be to have lived in the xanga days. Hehe! ;) So after xanga went out of style I still wanted one, but then I started finding out about blogspot and decided that might be a better route. Therefore, after many years of waiting, I finally got a blog, which I absolutely love writing on... when I can think of something to write on it. Some times my brain is working really well and is full of all kinds of quaint thoughts, but then sometimes it is quite stale and unmemoriable (I don't think it will do any good to google that word because I am pretty sure it isn't there.).

So why do I have a blog? Well, I saw it as a way to be able to encourage other believers in their walk with Christ. I specifically wanted to be an encouragement to other girls my age, but to guys as well. I don't think that when I started I really had in mind a lot of younger girls reading my blog, but I started noticing that some of the first people to comment on my blog were girls that were younger than me. Therefore, I realized I had an opportunity to be the Titus 2 older woman and encourage younger ladies. I have also found blogging a great way to connect, to an extent, with other believers all around the world. I think that is really cool. Not only do I want to be an encouragement to other Christians, but I also hope that my blog will lead people to Christ. Finally, blogging has been a way for me to share my random thoughts and it encourages me to write and actually put my thoughts on paper, whether I think they're significant or not.

I pray that, whether you have been reading my blog for a long time or just started reading it recently, you have been blessed or encouraged by whatever you may have read!

I give a big "Thank you!" to all of my followers. When someone follows my blog it really encourages me, because it tells me that they thought it was worth reading again. Also "Thank you!" to all of my "secret followers" who read my blog, but have never left a comment or clicked the "Follow" button. ;) I know ya'll are there, even when you remain silent. ;)

God bless!
