100 Days of Thanksgiving (Day 22)

I am thankful for all the men who have have learned to cook and enjoy cooking. Yes, sirree Bob! Yes sirree Bob! You heard that right! I love it when my brothers come home and know how to cook a delicious meal for the family. Of course, we have Mom to thank, too, because she is usually the teacher of that art. I love it when men decide it isn't an "only girls" thing! If you haven't read my post about the importance of men cooking then you might just want to check it out here: Men Need to Cook, Too!   Well, that's it for today folks! Have a lovely evening! Country life! I am so thankful and blessed to be able to live out in the country! I love the land that I roam. I love hearing the cows moo in distant pastures, or the song of the birds in the early morning, the hooting owls at night, the random deer that come wondering into our yard, and the endless chatter of squirrels. Yes, I love country life!

Homemade Bread! It's the best when it is straight out of the oven and the butter just melts on to the bread. So delicious! Maybe I should share my bread recipe with ya'll. Is anybody interested in it? It is really easy and makes 4 loaves.

Great Value Corn Flakes

100 Days of Thanksgiving  Day 11 Sorry people! I am not doing a picture today. I know it makes posts way more interesting, but honestly I get tired of trying to find the "perfect" picture, so... Great Value corn flakes! I am so thankful for that particular brand of corn flakes because guess what? They are the only brand that knows how to make good corn flakes. You are probably thinking "Wow! This girl is really picky!" Well, yes, in some things I am and that is actually not a bad thing. Anyway, Great Value Corn Flakes just have that unique different-from-the-rest type of flavor and crunch that makes it delicious.  Shine for Jesus! Your Blogger Friend, Hannah

Day 10 The Beach! I just love the beach! I love digging my toes into the sand, running through the water, letting the waves chase me, watching the sunrise above the water, making huge holes in the sand with my siblings or watching the sea gulls. Oh, the memories that we have made while at the beach (or as northerners say, the shore).

Day 9 Squirrels! Yes, I like squirrels and am thankful for them even though they are quite  mischievous. Their mischievousness is actually something that makes them so funny to watch at times.

Colossians 2:6-7 "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." So I have decided that for the next 100 days I am going to attempt to post one thing each day of something that I am thankful for. I hope you will join me. You could either, post it on your own blog, leave a comment, or just write something in your journal every day for the next 100 days. Today, September 4, 2012 , is day 1   The cross “on which the Prince of Glory died” Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
