With it's Heart Against a Thorn
I found this poem in Streams of the Desert and liked it so much I decided to share it with all of ya'll! I hope you are blessed by it! Once I heard a song of sweetness, As it cleft the morning air, Sounding in its blest completeness, Like a tender, pleading prayer; And I sought to find the singer, Whence the wondrous song was born; And I found a bird, sore wounded, Pinioned by a cruel thorn. Dear Hannah,
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you! It's just terrible about your brother. How old were you when he died? I am praying for all of you.
I am the second of a homeschooling family too. We have nine kids too. :-)
This blog is such an encouragement.
Do you all have Bible names? We do. We also have a Hannah.
Naomi,
DeleteI was 12 when my brother died. God has been very good and gracious to me. He gives me strength for each day, so that in spite of my sorrows, I can rejoice in the promises of Christ.
I am glad you find my blog encouraging. Thank you for stopping by and visiting it.
Yes, all of my siblings have Bible names, as well. ;)
Hannah! Your nails need attention!! ;)
ReplyDeleteBTW guys, this is her sister. I get to point things like that out. ;) I'm sure everyone else was thinking it anyhow, right? lol.
We have green leaves now, Hannah. I will have to show you!
Lol, Priscilla! You're hilarious! College students don't have twenty hours to spend on their nails. :P
