Sometimes its the little things in life that make one happy, such as...a leaf!

My roommate and I were very excited to find a brown leaf on the ground today in downtown Minneapolis. For your information, this is a rare and precious sight for this time of year.

  1. Hey Hannah! I am new here! I really like your blog it is so pretty! Anyway you are very right a leave makes even me happy! I love trees, and leaves! Nice post, can't wait for more. ;)

    1. Hi Grace,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading it and I am glad you like it! I hope you are blessed by all that you read on here!

  2. so many times, i think that i need something like really BIG to satisfy me and make me happy. but, i've found that by getting more bigger and supposedly "better" things, it just makes me greedy and unthankful.
it's these little things that forces me to look around me and count my blessings. to pay attention to the things i take for granted (:
    lovely post and blog!

    1. Priscilla, thank you for your comment! You are right, it is the little things in life that make us see our blessings.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. I am glad you like it.

  3. Dear Hannah,
My heart goes out to you! It's just terrible about your brother. How old were you when he died? I am praying for all of you.
I am the second of a homeschooling family too. We have nine kids too. :-)
This blog is such an encouragement.
Do you all have Bible names? We do. We also have a Hannah.

    1. Naomi,
I was 12 when my brother died. God has been very good and gracious to me. He gives me strength for each day, so that in spite of my sorrows, I can rejoice in the promises of Christ.
I am glad you find my blog encouraging. Thank you for stopping by and visiting it.
Yes, all of my siblings have Bible names, as well. ;)

  4. Hannah! Your nails need attention!! ;)
BTW guys, this is her sister. I get to point things like that out. ;) I'm sure everyone else was thinking it anyhow, right? lol.
We have green leaves now, Hannah. I will have to show you!

    1. Lol, Priscilla! You're hilarious! College students don't have twenty hours to spend on their nails. :P
