I Love Those Moments When...
I love those moments when no one is watching (or maybe I just think no one is watching) and I start dancing and singing (not at the top of my lungs, lest someone hear).
I love those moments when I get chased around the house by my sister because I got marker on her face. She started it by getting marker on my hands. ;)
I love those moments when I start laughing hysterically because someone said something that probably wasn't really that funny. Or those moments when I start laughing again a while later about the same thing. ;)
I love those moments when I give a surprise gift to my little sister and watch her face brighten up with delight and gratitude.
I love those moments when mom randomly walks into the room where I am rapidly typing, stops, and waits for me to look at her. When I finally look, I discover to my great amusement that she is modeling for me, some of her old clothes. ;)
I love those moments of sipping on hot tea on cold windy days.
I love those moments when I smile at someone who looks sad and their face brightens up a bit and they smile back.
I love those moments when me and my sister stand in front of the mirror and she laughs at my poor attempts to raise just one eyebrow at a time. Some day I will do this! (maybe). ;)
I love those moments when I smile at a little boy, he looks at me, I continue to smile, and he finally comes over to me and starts showing me all about his new little truck book. I think I made a new little friend that day! ;)
I love that moment when I start smiling and mom says, "Why are you smiling? Are you up to mischief?" ahemm! ;)
What about you? What moments in life do you especially enjoy? What makes you smile? What makes you laugh? What do you love? I love comments, so don't be shy!
"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection." Colossians 3:12-14
I love moments when:
ReplyDeleteThe dinner is smelling so good and the fire is going.
I get a slobbery kiss from Lydia.
The wind is blowing crazily outside and the power goes out. Then we might have to have candle-light dinners.
I smile and wave at some sad looking person and they get happy and wave and smile back.
Elisabeth
Awe! I love slobbery kisses from Lydia, too. ;)
