Seven Miscellaneous Facts about Myself

1. I am the only left-hander in a family of eleven. It makes life so much more exciting and adventurous for everyone☺. Anyone else in similar circumstances I’m sure will understand. ☺
2. I hate pretzels. (Unless they are covered in chocolate)
3. I am counter-cultural when culture is counter-God.
4. I was seventeen before I skied for my first time. I was scared to death and almost backed out, but I ended up really enjoying it. (My mom grew up skiing, but my Dad has still never skied himself.)
5. I am the first girl of the family (after four boys) and I am the first in my family that was born at home.
6. I love to do puzzles. (Jigsaw and manipulative)
7. My brother was on TV in China.


Well, that is just a tidbit about myself.

    Hi Hannah!

    Here are just a few random facts about myself:

    1) I'm very interested in accents...any accent in general, but British accents in particular.

    2) I've never flown on an airplane...though there is a prospect that will be changing in the future!

    3) I was born at home, and with the exception of one check-up shortly after my birth, I have never been to the doctor.

    4) I'm shorter than my younger sister

    5) I'm the shyest person in my family

    6) I strongly dislike bananas.

    7) Romans 12:1-2 are a couple of my favorite verses.

    Thanks for sharing. It seems that we are alike in several ways. In 1, 2 (I did actually once just for the ride.:)Hehehe!), 3, 4, and 6 we are alike and I'm sure I like 7, too.

    I am glad you liked skiing! Skiing freaks me out, but I enjoy it when it is just an easy slope!
    Well, I stand with my legs crossed most of the time, I do it without thinking!
    I love hanging out with my sisters, and I am a reader-holic, always got a couple of fiction books on the go!
    I love cracking jokes with my mum :)

    1. I'm left-handed, and think it's lots of fun. One day, I'm going to start practicing with my right hand, since that sounds fun too =)

    2. I'm the 4th tallest in our family, even though there are 4 poeple older than me in my family.

    3. I like making people laugh and smile =)

    4. I've always thought it would be fun to gallop on a horse, but I've never had the opportunity to...maybe one day!

    5. I really, really like writing letters...and receiving them too =)

    6. I like to sing and play piano.

    7. I like cooking/baking anything with chocolate!

I have a confession. Ok, not really a confession because just about everyone who actually knows me knows it and I am not ashamed of it, but.... I have an obsession, of sorts, with Winnie the Pooh! Hidden Treasures From the Thrift Stores

I know it can be kind of discouraging for Christians girls, who really desire to dress modestly, to go shopping. Often times it is very hard to find something that is modest. Yet if you look hard enough, you can find the hidden treasures. One of my favorite places to buy clothes is at the thrift stores. That way I can get a good deal and there is also usually more of a variety. Therefore, today my mom, sister, and I went shopping and we're blessed to find two very nice (at least in my opinion), but also modest dresses. This is my dress. I am wearing a white t-shirt with it, because it only has straps. This is Priscilla's  dress. So my encouragement to ya'll girls out there trying to dress modestly: DON'T GIVE UP! There is modest clothing out there, it just might take a bit of searching. Also, don't forget to check out the thrift stores. That is where I find almost all of my clothes.
