Treasure Each Moment While it Lasts
When I first thought to write about this, I was going to say something like treasure each moment with your siblings while you have them. Well, I decided to broaden the category and make it every moment.
It is so important that we enjoy each season of our life. It won’t last forever and someday you’ll miss it, so treasure it now while you can.
Treasure those moments you have with your family because some day you’ll grow up or they’ll grow up and move out and then you’ll miss them. I have four brothers, but they’ve all moved out now. First my oldest brother moved off to college. Then my third brother, almost 16 years old, goes home to be with Jesus. Then my second brother goes to college. Lastly my fourth brother leaves the home and goes to college. I miss each one of them a lot. Treasure the times you have with your siblings.
Maybe you’re a young mom with lots of crazy little children running around. Maybe you’re tired of the endless runny noses to clean or the dirty diapers to change, or fights to break up. Believe it or not, some day they will grow up and move out, too. Treasure those moments. Some day the house will be still and quiet. No more the sound of little running feet; no more chubby little faces to kiss goodnight; no more muddy floors to clean from dirty feet. You’ll wish it all back when it is too late. Children grow up a lot quicker then you realize, just ask my Mom.
Treasure each moment. It won’t last forever. If you are always wanting what you do not have then you will never be happy. Learn to be content in every season of life and your joy will be full. Laugh with your little brothers or sisters. Laugh with them over a little joke they tell. Take each season of your life with joy. Treasure each moment while it lasts.
Philippians 4:4
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”
1 Timothy 6:6
“Now godliness with contentment is great gain.”
This is so true. You can't take back the moments. Life is so short. We need to not waste our lives but live each moment for Christ.
ReplyDeletePhil 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
