      Thanks, friend! I enjoy doing art like this since I am not much of an artist in any other way. It also helps me when life gets really busy and intense. Then its just kind therapeutic to do art. ;)

      Thanks, Sarah Jo! I want to continue to do more, but I just don't have a lot of time these days. ;) I was originally going to start doing something like this once day, but, well, that hasn't really happened. lol

I know it can be kind of discouraging for Christians girls, who really desire to dress modestly, to go shopping. Often times it is very hard to find something that is modest. Yet if you look hard enough, you can find the hidden treasures. One of my favorite places to buy clothes is at the thrift stores. That way I can get a good deal and there is also usually more of a variety. Therefore, today my mom, sister, and I went shopping and we're blessed to find two very nice (at least in my opinion), but also modest dresses. This is my dress. I am wearing a white t-shirt with it, because it only has straps. This is Priscilla's  dress. So my encouragement to ya'll girls out there trying to dress modestly: DON'T GIVE UP! There is modest clothing out there, it just might take a bit of searching. Also, don't forget to check out the thrift stores. That is where I find almost all of my clothes. Winnie the Pooh

I have a confession. Ok, not really a confession because just about everyone who actually knows me knows it and I am not ashamed of it, but.... I have an obsession, of sorts, with Winnie the Pooh! Yes, go ahead and laugh, but seriously, I kind of like him a lot (ok, not as much as Cowboys, but that is a different story). So my car has a little Winnie the Pooh hanging on the mirror and he basically is my friend that accompanies me on all my road trips and road adventures of getting lost (happens a lot). So, whether you like it or not this post is Winnie the Pooh quotes. I probably just scared away half my readers, but you know if you can't put up with my Winnie the Pooh obsession for just one day than that is really just too bad. Laughter in the Kitchen (part 1)

I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy cooking. But as you know, anyone who has done any amount of cooking has their share of cooking mistakes. I know I’ve run into mine. In fact, I plan to do a post sharing some of my hilarious stories from the kitchen, that weren’t so hilarious at the time that it happened. Right now I don’t have the time, so instead I ask you to leave a comment and share some of your best and funniest cooking mistakes and stories from the kitchen. I’m sure that if you’ve ever cooked at all then you have at least one story to tell, so please don’t be shy. I want to hear the men’s cooking stories too, not just the women’s.
