I know it can be kind of discouraging for Christians girls, who really desire to dress modestly, to go shopping. Often times it is very hard to find something that is modest. Yet if you look hard enough, you can find the hidden treasures. One of my favorite places to buy clothes is at the thrift stores. That way I can get a good deal and there is also usually more of a variety. Therefore, today my mom, sister, and I went shopping and we're blessed to find two very nice (at least in my opinion), but also modest dresses.

So my encouragement to ya'll girls out there trying to dress modestly: DON'T GIVE UP! There is modest clothing out there, it just might take a bit of searching. Also, don't forget to check out the thrift stores. That is where I find almost all of my clothes. People are all the time getting rid of their clothes that are in really good condition and giving it to Goodwill, Thrift stores, and Bargain shops, so you can find cheap, but nice clothes there and often times more modest clothes.

Oh, I am a profound fan of thrift stores. I can't even list all the stuff I have found there. My top finds have been brand new Ariat boots for $15, several pairs of combat boots for around $20, and last but the best, an old Resistol hat still in grand condidtion - for $5. The Ariat's and the Resistol are worth at least $150 plus brand new in stores.

Glad you were able to find some clothes. My mom runs into that problem a lot, and thrift stores have saved the day more than once. They also don't dent the wallet to bad!
I didn't know you and Priscilla were sisters! I have followed her blog for a while but had no idea you were related! Small world!
